 70's hearthrob 'Frank Spencer' is to return to our screens next year as a reformed character. He'll present a new BBC documentary, with the snappy title 'modern conflict - the lighter side'.
Frank, accompanied by Betty (still in character, as the 'hard, down-trodden' wife), will present the new series in the hope of reviving his ailing career.
When interviewed for 'TV Tingle', Frank chirped 'we're going to change the image of modern documentaries. Gone is the Panorama-esque sincerity and sobriety of old, we'll introduce the world to a lighter, breezier style of world disorder stories. I simply can't wait.'
